Bellissimo Shelties is a small, family-run Sheltie breeder in North Idaho,
dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies with excellent
temperament and structure.

Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by daily life, love, and careful attention from the very beginning. We believe how a puppy is raised matters just as much as their pedigree — and we take that responsibility seriously.

Hi, I’m Chrissy Green, the breeder behind Bellissimo Shelties.

From day one, every puppy is held, loved, and cared for as part of our family. Our dogs are raised in our home, and are given individual attention from birth. I raise my dogs with my whole heart — they are not just part of a breeding program, they are part of our lives.

I am active in showing and work with champion bloodlines, with a strong focus on preserving the Shetland Sheepdog’s correct temperament, structure, and breed type. My goal is to raise quality puppies for loving pet families while honoring the Sheltie standard.

To me, Shelties are truly the best dog breed. They are intelligent, sweet, cuddly, adventurous, and incredibly loyal, with wonderfully expressive personalities.

I love seeing people’s faces light up when they meet my dogs. Shelties bring miles of smiles, and that joy deserves to be shared — that’s how Bellissimo Shelties was born.
