Sparrow is a truly head-turning blue merle Sheltie. AKC registered and triple-titled through IABCA, he embodies the beauty, structure, and temperament that the Shetland Sheepdog breed is known for.
He is sired by GCH CH Syringa-SR Easy Rider, and his dam is Relyt Treasure To Asgard. On his sire’s side, he is the grandson of MBIS MRBIS MBISS GCHP2 Syringa-Akadia The Corsair CC AOM, who was awarded Best of Breed and went on to become the Herding Group winner at the 2020 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show — the only Sheltie to win the Herding Group there. He also advanced to the Best in Show ring as one of the seven Group winners. It’s a pedigree that truly speaks for itself.
Sparrow’s blue merle coloring is striking, with rich, balanced patterning and a luxurious coat. Judges frequently describe him as “very flashy… beautiful coat” and note his cheerful expression.
